About Newnan Utilities' Carl Miller Park
Carl Miller Park is one of our contributions to enhance the
quality of life for Coweta County residents. To keep pace with our rapidly-expanding
community, in late 2008/early 2009 the park was expanded to include additional
parking, a restroom facility near the popular Kids’ Castle Playground,
as well as an additional pavilion, and picnic tables. The expansion allowed
us to accommodate more guests and better serve the recreational needs of
our growing community. We’re proud to provide this family-friendly facility
for everyone in this area to enjoy.
The 14-acre park features:

Picnic Tables

Pavilions for groups of up to 150 people

Walking/jogging trail — one circuit around the trail is 6/10 mile

Preschool and elementary playgrounds

April - October: Open daily 8:00 am to 9:00 pm | November
- March: Open daily 8:00 am to 7:00 pm
Park Rules
Newnan Utilities provides this park for the
enhancement of the quality of life for Coweta County residents. As we
are committed to providing the community with a safe park for all to
enjoy, we ask that for everyone’s safety and enjoyment, visitors follow
a few simple rules.
The following are prohibited in the park:
- The use of roller skates/blades, skateboards, shoeskates or bicycles on any of the walking or service drive areas
- The use of alcoholic beverages
- Loud music in the form of radios, CDs, etc. to the point of being offensive to others
- The use of personal or disposable cooking grills
- Glass bottles
- Pets
In the picnic areas, we ask that visitors:
- Provide their own fire making materials for use in the grills
- Not remove picnic tables from shelters
So that everyone may enjoy a clean, beautiful park, please place all refuse in the containers provided throughout the park.
