Kids' Castle Playground
Situated
inside Newnan Utilities' Carl Miller Park is Kids' Castle Playground. Built
in 1998 by local volunteers and funded through local donations, the 32,000
square foot playground features wooden climbing areas, swings, assorted
bridges, tunnels, forts, playhouses, cars, boats, trucks and airplanes for
kids to play in, on and around.
The playground even offers xylophones and wooden drums for the musically
inclined. A brick walkway leads to the entrance, with names of sponsors
engraved on each brick.
The playground's operating hours coincide with Newnan Utilities' Carl Miller
Park's schedule:
April - October: Open daily 8:00 am to 9:00 pm | November
- March: Open daily
8:00 am to 7:00 pm
