Setting Up E-mail in Mac Mail

There are several ways to access your E-mail with Acceleron service. Access E-mail from any Internet-connected computer using Newnan Utilities' WebMail service. WebMail is particularly useful when away from home on business or vacation. Webmail customization information here.

To access your E-mail from home, you can use one of many E-mail programs (also called E-mail Clients).
Mac Mail is the default E-mail program installed with Mac OSX.

Step 1

Open the Mac Mail program
Click "Continue" on the Welcome to Mail screen

Use the following options on the General Information screen:

Account Type: choose "POP"

Account Description: type
POP Account

Full Name (type your name)

E-mail Address (i.e. youremailaddress@numail.org)

Click "Continue"

Use the following information on the Incoming Mail Server screen:

Type "mail.numail.org" for the incoming mail server

Type your E-mail address for the User Name.

Type your E-mail password for the Password.

Click "Continue"

Use the following information on the Outgoing Mail Server screen:

Type "mail.numail.org" for the outgoing mail server

Type your E-mail address for the User Name.

Type your E-mail password for the Password.

Click "Continue"

Click "Continue" on the Summary screen then click "Done" on the Conclusion screen.
