Q | My Digital Video Recorder (DVR) is losing frames/sound. What can I do?
A | Unplug the power cord from the back of the unit and plug it back up. Turn the unit back on and wait for the channels to load. This should solve the problem. If not, check your cable connectors and make sure the connectors are connected tightly.
Q | My DRV is showing hard disk errors when I try to play back a recorded show. How can I fix this problem?
A | Format the hard disk of the DVR. To format the hard disk, follow the steps below:
- Press the cable button on the DVR remote.
- Hold the pause button until the message light blinks.
- Press the page down button once.
- Press the list button three times.
*Note, this WILL erase all previously recorded shows.
