Perry Street Utility Work Beginning April 6

Newnan Utilities will begin planned utility work along Perry Street in downtown Newnan the week of April 6, 2026. Work will take place in sections over multiple weeks and will require road closures in the active work areas.

Motorists should expect traffic impacts in the work zones. Access to nearby businesses will remain available. This project includes replacing 15 aging utility poles to support long-term reliability and improve the appearance of the corridor. Telecommunications crews will also be working in the area during this time.

Water line replacement work will begin on Glenn St. Monday, March 30, and is expected to last a few weeks.

• Traffic control will be in place
